waters of British Columbia and the American state of
Washington. This area includes all of Puget Sound, the
Strait of Juan de Fuca as far west as Cape Flattery and
the waters inside Vancouver Island as far north as Port
Hardy.

Pacific Northwest Boat Charters
The Pacific Northwest boat charter cruising area generally covers the San Juan Islands in Washington State, and British Columbia's Southern Gulf Islands, Sunshine Coast, Jervis Inlet, Princess Louisa Inlet, Desolation Sound and Vancouver Island. The area in B.C. also includes the beautiful waters around the Northern Gulf Islands and the Redonda Islands, as well as the incredible fjords along Bute and Toba inlets.

San Juan Islands
Just south of the US/Canada border, this
group of islands offer a sheltered body of
water with every possible convenience a
yachtsman could wish for including resorts,
swimming pools, marinas, shopping, craft
markets, art galleries, museums and dozens
of restaurants for shore-side dining. [more]

Northern Gulf Islands
The Northern Gulf Islands are a little more remote and quiet than their southern partners, and offer boaters peaceful marine parks, beautiful beaches, warm water and a wide variety of wildlife viewing. [more]

Southern Gulf Islands
These islands are a continuation of the San
Juan Island chain but north of the
international border. The islands are less
developed than their American counterparts,
but every bit as scenic. There is less
marine traffic as well, so the cruiser has
the opportunity to enjoy a little more
solitude while still enjoying the benefits
of being close to the several small towns

Sunshine Coast
Often overlooked by cruisers on their way
to Desolation Sound, this area offers both,
bustling marinas and charming waterside
restaurants combined with totally secluded
anchorages in hundreds of little coves and

Jervis Inlet / Princess Louisa Inlet
Louisa Inlet and Chatterbox Falls (at the
head of Jervis Inlet) are world-famous for
their scenic beauty.
Jervis Inlet slices deep into the beautiful Coast Mountain Range.

Desolation Sound
Considered by knowledgeable yachtsmen to be
one of the top three cruising areas in the
world (the other two being Fiji and New
Zealand's Bay of Islands). Famous for calm,
sheltered waters, oysters, clams, prawns,
and for salmon up to 60 lbs. Actually
salmon and cod are plentiful throughout our
